Jan Wojcik, a native of Virginia, moved to Michigan at age eleven. She attended the  Art University in Michigan. In 1988 she moved to Florida. She lives in Trinity, Florida. and belongs to Tarpon Springs Art Association, Dunedin Fine Art Center, and she is also a member of Elfers Portrait Group with live models.
She has won numerous awards for her work in Oil and Pastels, and has many commissions for portraits.
